so its almost been a year...

..since that fateful day we had to take down the "BELL" dish..
do I regret it? partially yes, but my wife sure doesn't!

1) we live in Victoria BC and as such the limited Francophone channels kinda force you to go Satellite

2) the best Francophone channel is RFO for quality and diversity of programming

3) Bell axed RFO for no good reason.

4) StarChoice always had a superior RFO signal due to their better working relationship with the uplinker

so what is the downside? bundles
EVu had better time shifting bundles for basically the same cost as StarChoice

so what is the StarChoice upside? bundles
StarChoice includes the HD signals in the basic package

So ultimately, yes I miss CTV Regina or some other unique time shift opportunities but remember we got Sat for RFO...the Mrs is happy so I am happy!

Now if only they would add RFO-"TEMPO" that would be nice ;)
